September 26, 2022
It is with heavy hearts, we regret to inform you that United Cerebral Palsy of Delaware, Inc. will be
closing its doors after nearly 70 years of serving the disability community. As of September 30, 2022,
UCP’s programs and services will be discontinued. We have worked diligently to transfer our programs
to other agencies with similar missions and goals, to ensure the continuation of services to our clients
and the community.
Since 1953, UCP has been honored to work with individuals with all types of disabilities and their
families, providing many needed services and supports. Through the years we have served thousands of
wonderful clients through our many programs and services. We will cherish our memories from the
many years of Camps, Wrestling Tournaments, Highmark Walks, Holiday Parties, Diamond Dinners, Pig
Roasts, and the many other special events/fundraisers that so many clients, staff, and volunteers made
successful and fun!! We would like to sincerely thank all the wonderful clients, families, volunteers,
staff, and donors who have been a part of the UCP family over the years. Countless lifelong memories
and friendships have been formed at UCP, and for that we are all so grateful.
