Community Living / Respite Care

UCP's Community Living Program

The statewide Community Living Program helps adults with disabilities to live successfully in their home, in their community.

The program provides opportunities for personal, social, and/or educational enrichment through access to community resources. Program participants access the community in wheelchair accessible vans with a trained Community Living Partner.

Examples of community involvement can include shopping, volunteering, dining out, visiting friends, and respite care.
