Blake Roberts


Blake joined United Cerebral Palsy in 2007. As CAP Advisor, Blake assists with program compliance with Rehabilitation Services Administrations, Client Assistant Program regulations and compliance of UCP/DVR contractual obligations. In this role, Blake assists clients who experience difficulty with the Vocational Rehabilitation Program as well as providing referrals to other agencies when unable to assist people directly.

Blake serves on multiple boards. Since 2008, he has been the Client Assistance Program representative for the Division for The Visually Impaired’s Vocation Rehabilitation Advisory Council. This group is also known as the State Rehabilitation Council for DVI. Blake became a member of the Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC) in 2013 and was elected Secretary in August 2017.

Since 2016, Blake has served as a member of DVI’s Independent Living Advisory Committee. Blake has also been a member of Dart’s Elderly and Disabled Transit Advisory Committee since 2012. In March 2018, he was elected Chair of the Committee.

In 2020, Blake began publishing a blog entitled Who’s Who in Delaware with a focus on Delawareans with disabilities. Blake’s blogs have also covered topics such as coronavirus tips, assistive technology, and advocacy skills. Please check out Blake’s blog at
